Haydn's “The Seven Last Words of Christ" is a profound musical work that reflects on the final sayings of Jesus during his crucifixion. This arrangement brings together Haydn’s own version for string quartet with his later choral setting for an intimate meditative reflection on the Passion.

From the Argentine tango to the courtly dances of France and the folk dances of Eastern Europe, movement and music have evolved in tandem, spanning geography and time. These traditions are more than entertainment; they are expressions of identity, history, and human connection. Dancing on Six Strings is a celebration of that connection. The husband and wife duo, violinist PETER SIROTIN, and pianist YA-TING CHANG, have enjoyed great successes both together and independently. They have appeared as soloists with ensembles ranging from the Kharkiv Philharmonic to the Hong Kong Chamber Orchestra and have collaborated in performance with world-renowned artists. In 2023, the couple received an Arts Award for distinguished service to the arts in the Capital Region and are pleased to perform a Candlelit Concert Under The Dome at Saint Patrick Cathedral.
