Music Under the Dome
Concert Series

Beginning January 2025, our Cathedral Parish of Saint Patrick is relaunching a concert series, Music Under the Dome, dedicated to presenting a wide variety of musical genres, and hosting musicians ranging from both amateur musicians to distinguished professional musical artists.   With the inaugural season running from January through June 2025, the series will continue annually every September through June.

University of Notre Dame Chorale

Hosted in conjunction with the Notre Dame Club of Harrisburg, come hear the Notre Dame Chorale present their first concert of their annual winter tour! The official concert choir of the University of Notre Dame, the Chorale is a mixed-voice choral ensemble presenting works ranging from the Renaissance to the present.  Come support the student musicians in an evening of beautiful choral music.  This event is free and open to the public - No tickets required.

Seasons Celtic Family Band

Seasons is an award-winning Celtic family band composed of siblings Mary-Kate Spring, Peter Winter, Mary-Teresa Summer, Mary-Grace Autumn, and Mary-Clare Chun Lee. The Lee siblings seek to not only pay homage to the rich tradition of Celtic and American folk music that they grew up in, but to treat it as a living, breathing entity. The result is a constantly growing collection of original songs and tunes that are all at once both fresh and familiar.  Join in this festive Saint Patrick’s Day Celebration with the exciting fusion of Celtic and American folk styles – Seasons.  Admission is free - no tickets required.  A free-will offering will be taken up to support the concert series.

Under the direction of Saint Patrick Cathedral’s own Director of Music, Dr. Richard Skirpan, Music Under the Dome welcomes the choirs of Loyola Blakefield of Towson, Maryland on their spring concert tour and Harrisburg’s own Bishop McDevitt High School under the direction of Mr. Chad Reed.  Come support these student musicians in an evening of beautiful choral music.  This event is free and open to the public.  A free-will offering will be taken up to support the concert series.
